Wambamboo

I'm thinking of buying a Wambamboo size 2, but can't find out what weight range it goes up to.

DS is 30lbs with fairly chunky thighs - is it likely to fit?

My DS is 16 months old and nearly 29lbs and there is loads of room to grow in his WBBs. The tabs are very long which makes them really adjustable for thick thighs and waists or long bodies.

I am sure they will last til he is potty trained.

I have the nippa ones btw. Not sure if the velcro ones are as adjustable.

Fab - thanks Dragonhart

Can anyone recommend the best place to buy them - I've got most other nappies from The Nappy Lady - and I'm guessing there's not much of a second-hand market yet?

I bought mine on ebay on an offer of 3 for 2. Got the velcro size 2 which do have very long tabs on and am overlapping them on chunky DD who is 22lbs.

When I was looking afew months ago this was the cheapest I found them if you are going to buy afew, also delivery is free, which I always love!

Look out for any baby shows near you soon though as I went to one in Haydock Park just after I had payed £92.50 for 12 and they had a stall that had them for £75 there! I was gutted.

Thats good price Nemo! Ever since I bought mine, I have seen them cheaper else where! Spent ages looking for the cheapest places too!

just checked but she seems to have stopped doing the offer. Was same person who was doing the swaddlebees for £5.99

Bizarre as Swaddlebees cost retailers more than that to buy so I'd be suspicious of their being genuine Swaddlebees.

Anyway to answer your question, Wham-Bamboos (wambamboos) will fit pretty much the biggest nappy wearing toddlers as they have very wide hip/waist tabs - wider than most. They also cross over at the waist better than other brands to fit smaller babies.

Whereas, say, Tots Bots will run out of a decent amount of waist tab on many toddlers over two years or so.

How old is your DS cornflake? Do you want me to send you a trial nappy for fit?
