How to clean a baby's bathtub

Hi, I need to clean my baby's bathtub and I don't want to use anything too harsh as any residue might irritate her skin. I wondered what other people used?. I was thinking of maybe using a small amount of washing up liquid or perhaps even just baby body wash.

Thanks, Sarah

I would just use the baby bodywash.

I would just use baby wash then rinse it off. (I can't imagine the bath has got that dirty? I don't think you'd need anything stronger.)

I would youse washing up liquid and rinse well for a one-off thourough clean.

but yes to a quick wipe with the bathwater/flannel and rinse after each use.

I have ds (21 months so obviously in the big bath) and dd who is 8 weeks.I put all of ds's bath toys in the bath with some fairy liquid and very hot water every week- I just shove the baby bath in with them now, then rinse all of it off with the shower.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I'll use fairy liquid once a week to give it a good clean and then just rinse off the rest of the time.
