3 yr old who wets pants and seems frightened to poo on toilet!

Any advice on the above please? Im at my wits end!!! She is also prone to urine infections so that could account for the wee accidents, but as for the big ones Im baffled.

my son was like that about poos for ages. we played it very low key and one day he just decided he could do it, can't remember what age he was but he is 4 now and it seems like a long time ago. I searched on mumsnet and posted a question I think and got helpful tips so an archive search could be helpful.

Yep, went through this too when we were first potty training at about 2 and half years. It took probably another 5 months before she was willing to do a poo in toilet and not a nappy. Basically it requires lots of patience, make sure they drink lots of water and eat lots of fruit. We also told her stories about poo poo and wee wee parties and how in order for them to make it to the parties they needed to travel via the toilet. Good luck!
