Soft trousers for toddlers to pull up

I can't find any anywhere! DS1 (just turned 3) will be starting pre-school soon and I want him to have some comfy trousers. We potty trained him over the summer but he has been in nice comfy shorts. He's just mastering pulling them up and down himself for the loo. I don't really want him to wear jogging bottoms for pre-school but would like something with the feel of them without the look. And warm too for when it gets colder. Any ideas?

Boden have some lovely ones with elasticated waistband. They are quite pricy but they have good sales and lots of discount codes. They wash v v well. I have a code you can use. M3d8- 10% off and free delivery.

Tesco do trousers with soft lining, and stretchy soft waistband that are nice, and about £8.

Thanks! I don't have a tesco near but will check out. I'vebeem checking Boden for ages and can't find any. Did buy some cords there and several outfits for me. Do you have a link to the boden ones please as I can't find any on there.

H&M, next, Boots, mothercare. All have jeans / chinos / cargos / shorts with elasticated tops (like joggers) and no fly.

Hello- the Boden ones that I like for ds are the cord ones with a soft thick waistband. Would those work for pre school or is it more traditional trousers? I can't find them now so wondering if they were clearance and sold out. I bought the bright yellow and orange but there were more conservative colours too!

I love Fred and Noah leggings. They are on etsy and not on the high street. Lovely soft fabrics, in lots of cool prints up to age 4 and all hand made. I love them for my 15mo DS.

Another pricey one but worth it as DS1 wears his for months, and one pair of jeans lasted him almost a year as they're built for growth - polarn o pyret. Check sales

H&M do pull-up jeans with a soft waistband. We bought loads :) not expensive either. Plus they give you a £5 voucher if you take a bag of old clothes in for recycling, maximum 2 at a time.
