actimel for toddlers

Has Anyone given kids actimel.My little one is always having tummy bugs. Someone told me about actimel with a little milk mixed together, once a day..he is 2 years old . xx

it's fine if a bit sugary.

any live yoghurt would have the same effect.

Actimel's own web site says it's not suitable for under threes so I wouldn't-even if it did no harm it's unlikely to do any real good. They get tummy bugs from other kids/general filth/putting stuff in their mouths/cess pit soft play centres and i reckon bugs are a bit unavoidable at this age.
