Cows milk v formula

DD is recently 1. I've been basically breastfeeding four times a day but now back at work full time so she has expressed/formula for two of those.

She eats really really well, 3 large and balanced meals a day.

I'm not keen on shelling out for formula if it's not necessary but having packs of cow's milk doesn't seem optimum either.

Should I be looking to drop the two middle feeds and replace with snacks by this point? I just can't remember. Or should I replace with having cow's milk? Or just stick to formula?

She's not my first but I can't remember what I did in the past.

I wouldn't bother with formula. Cow's milk is safe for 12 months and up as long as there are no allergies.

Shall I do two of cow's milk a day then? Or should I be looking to drop one? 4 a day seems like a lot doesn't it? Everyone I mention it too seems to say 'wow' but I'm not sure if it's because of the still BFimg thing

I'm sure at 1 she would be fine without milk in the day if she's eating well. My 16 month old had refused EBM, formula and cows milk so she hasn't had milk in nursery since I returned to work at 10 months. Nursery offer her milk every day, but she hasn't once accepted!

My only concern is that she's an absolute slip of a thing. Not underweight I don't think but weighs 8kg and is tall. We're all quite slim in the family so maybe wouldn't make a difference. Not sure.

DD was EBF until I returned to work at 9mo. Wouldn't take EBM or formula. Eventually she took a cup of cows milk in the day, was drinking plenty of water too, and was (still is!) BF morning and night. She does have 2 snacks as well as 3 meals though. And she's developed a taste for good night formula so she has a bottle of that plus boob at night.

My DD is only little too- I've been working on pushing up the calories in her food- lots of avocado, olive oil/cream added to meals etc. She still breastfeeds morning, evening and sometimes once overnight. If her appetite is good I wouldn't worry about the milk- you could try dropping to one and a snack to start with.

DD1 at age 2.9 was drinking a pint of whole cows milk overnight between and 7.

DD2 still drinks no milk at all having weaned from BF at 3.
