It's roasting. What do your 1yr old wear to bed?

His room is 29 degrees, I have a fan in there but can't open the windows as have groblinds stuck to the 2 windows to make it dark enough for him to believe it's bedtime.

I'm going with nappy and a vest I reckon. DP thinks just nappy but I don't want him to get cold later on.

I realise this is a boring thread Wink

18m old DS just has a nappy on but he gets very sweaty on a normal night! If he feels chilly when I go to bed I'll cover him over

pretend · 22/08/2015 18:45

A nappy, and the duvet cover with no duvet.

If it was noticeably chillier later I'd put a blanket over him

soundsystem · 22/08/2015 18:59

Nappy, vest, very light (1 tog) Grobag. It's really too hot for the Grobag but she won't go to sleep otherwise.

Vest and muslin gro bag

TheGirlAtTheRockShow · 22/08/2015 19:03

At 29 degrees, just nappy.
It's 26 in her room so she has a short sleeve vest.
If it cools down I'll chuck a light blanket over her.

23 degrees inside here (we are in Scotland, this is practically tropical). She has nappy, short-sleeved vest and 1-tog sleeping bag.

winchester1 · 22/08/2015 19:06

2yr old goes up in pjs and strips himself during the night.
7 month old nappy and 1 tog bag.
Similar temps.

Ilovenannyplum · 22/08/2015 19:13

Fuckitfay - glad to hear it Wink

I've gone short sleeved with the fan pointing near but not directly at him. It's 'only' 28 degrees in there now. Brilliant.

22mo dd is wearing a vest and nappy. I would do just nappy but she would take it off at some point and she has eczema so scratches if she has bare skin.

She has a blanket and duvet on her bed but she never sleeps with either on top, just cuddles blanket.

SliceOfLime · 22/08/2015 19:23

Mine is in a long sleeved vest and loose pj trousers, I'll put a blanket over her later. Their room is quite cool though and open window right next to her cot. I would always put a vest, never just nappy, I hate sleeping with nothing on myself - plus it always gets cooler in the night.

lanbro · 22/08/2015 19:24

23mo, nappy and 1 tog sleeping bag - if she wasn't in the sleeping bag she'd be bouncing around in the cot!

lemoncordial · 22/08/2015 21:12

26 in bedroom right now and dd is asleep in a nappy only, no covers.

lemoncordial · 22/08/2015 21:12

Sorry forgot to say dd is 11 months.

mrsmilkymoo · 22/08/2015 21:16

Nappy, vest and 1 tog gro bag. But we're in Scotland and I sleep with a hot water bottle myself!

Quietlifenotonyournelly · 22/08/2015 21:20

Nappy and vest, DS 6.5 months can remove nappy otherwise it would be just nappy.

purpleme12 · 22/08/2015 22:06

If it was was 29 degrees I'd just put her in her summer pyjamas
