For the past several weeks, DD has been complaining of vaginal pain and we've noticed that it seems to strike within 5 minutes of her having made a wee. It doesn't hurt to wee, and urine tests and swabs have come back negative for infection and candida. I can, however, see that there's quite a bit of white, yeasty-looking stuff inside, though DD cries in pain if I try to get a good look. :(
We've now seen several doctors at our GP surgery and none of them have anything useful to offer. One prescribed an emollient cream, suggesting that it might be eczema, but has anyone ever heard of eczema causing pain after weeing?
There's another GP there who I quite like but he's away on holiday at the moment; I will book an appointment for when he's back -- sometime next week, I hope. In the meantime, any ideas what could be causing this?
We don't use soap/shampoo/bubble bath, as we've been told it can cause irritation, so that's not the cause.
