open university modules: How many hours a week did you study?

Thinking of registering for a 60 credit psychology module at level one. They estimate about 16 hours a week. I wonder if this is about accurate, or does it vary a lot depending on the individual?

I have done the access module and it took me less than the 8 hours they suggested.

ummm less than it says - but I already work in the field I'm studying so its not 100% new to me

I did about 2 hours a week for the first two years, more when I needed to do a TMA or revise for exams. I'm now in the 3rd year and doing 2 60 credit modules at the same time. They've got harder and I'll be doing more hours but it's unlikely to be 16 a week even doing two modules. I'm currently on the equivalent of a 2:1 in terms of scores.

I think they go with lowest denominator for amount of hours required - you may need the full 16 hours or you may be able to get away with far less.
