Bottle refusal whilst trying to wean from the breast

Hi everyone, please excuse my absence! I haven't been on here since my baby was born!

He is 6 months old and I'm ready to stop breast feeding for many reasons.

He won't take a bottle. I've tied both ebm and formula in every bottle/tippy cup going. I've tried cups, adding sugar/rusks to sweteen. I've tried different methods like spoon, syringe.

Please give me hope that he will eventually switch! Or tips!

My EBF baby wouldn't take a bottle until I went to work when she was 9mo. She's never liked EBM (I can understand that, she wants it from a boob!), me not being in the equation was the only thing that did it.

Since he's 6mo, I'd offer a sippy cup in the day. Here we did cows milk in the cup (yes I know it's not to be a main drink under 1, but there's nothing to say it can't be an occasional drink... And formula is cows milk anyway), then Hipp night formula at night in a bottle. That worked for us. Mine hated regular formula but loved the night stuff, maybe the added cereals make it sweeter... Who knows?!
