ICandy Peach or Oyster Max

The price difference is huge... But for the price of a new Oyster Max I can get a decent second hand iCandy... Is the iCandy that much better?

To be used as double by the way!

Bump! Someone must be a double expert!

Watching - have the same dilemma ! The only contribution I have is I tried DS in the old oyster max and his face was right up against the higher seat. Don't know what the new version is like!

I'm no expert but I have a I candy peach used as a double and it is amazing. I brought mine second hand on eBay as I already have a uppababy vista which wasn't that old and didn't fancy paying lots more money.

My only problem is both my ds's are long so ds1 looks very big for the front seat and ds2 has nearly out grown the carrycot at 11.5 weeks.

Is the peach the newest one? We looked at that a year a go and could not justify the price. We have an oyster and whilst it does the job it is a clunky heavy fella. I had a strawberry before and miss having a light wee pram.

Is it twins or a toddler? I like that my baby can face me in the oyster (not possible in Phil and teds etc) My big one uses the lower seat as a hop on hop off buggy board now she is older or the baby is occasionally sat down in the lower and the big one forward faces on top.

I'm a double expert and I've had both of these pushchairs! The price should say it all but there is such a massive different in quality its ridiculous, the Oyster Max its incredibly fragile and rattles. On top of that I had problems with the Oyster Max including car seat compatibility, my babies kicking each other because they are face-to-face and I constantly worry about their hands getting stuck in the wheels. When I bought the Peach I was in heaven, it's beats the Oyster Max in every department.

Thanks felicity, that's kind of what I thought too... I think it'll be a second hand iCandy! It's for DS (will be 2.1) and new baby.

Am I right in thinking I'll need:

Frame
Carrycot
Upper seat
Lower seat (plus adapters)

Rain covers
Car seat adapters if I choose to use it

Has anyone ever had different colour seats? Would it look weird? The one I've seen for sale is very pink...

He he he - sorry, but I clicked on this link thinking they were 2 possible choices of names for your baby - made myself laugh anyway. What an idiot!!

Peach is definitely the way to go! was at the Baby Show last week and the new collection looks stunning, Cant wait for the Olive colour to arrive!

We have the peach 3 and it's so easy to manoeuvre etc. Even taxi drivers/kind strangers helping on trains etc comment on how easy it is to collapse the frame. We also went for bright red and it's nice to have a bright colour - DD thinks she's in a Ferrari!

(DD is 7 weeks old and is really only capable of thinking "milk" and "mummy's an idiot")

I would be say just buy a single and buggy board tbh with eldest being over 2 already. Or get a side by side cheaply for a few months as seats bigger

A friend had the peach for her twins and loved it at first but said after around 18 months the seats were just way to small for them really. She swapped for a double side by side nipper at 18 months.
