Does anyone know how much it costs to have a private Frenectomy for tongue tie? I really don't want to wait for the NHS referral as it's been so long already with issues.....

Thanks!

The lady who did my DSs (free at a drop in clinic, very lucky as he was under 10 days old) charges about £100 I believe.

I didn't realise there was such a lot of aftercare needed! Waking every 2 hours to feed for a week!

I paid £110.

We didn't do the waking every two hours to feed thing, however she was only 8 weeks and was being bf on demand anyway.

Only aftercare exercise was encoraging baby to stick tongue out ie silly faces as much as poss.

We also paid about £100. Had it done at a private bf drop-in which also had a tt specialist. No specific after care required.

Thanks both - strange how some places say no aftercare and some say feed every 2-3 hours for a week!
