Entertaining a 2.5 year old at a wedding

Hi,
Next week I am taking my 2.5 year old daughter and 8 month old baby to a wedding. I'm not worried about the baby but my daughter is likely to get very bored during the ceremony, speeches and meal! Any good ideas to keep her entertained quietly? I'm going to bring sticker books and colouring books with crayons but does anyone have any other suggestions?

And of course I'll take her out if she makes noise, I'd just rather not spend the whole wedding missing things unless I really have to!

Post it notes - at that age DS could be entertained for ages with a packet of them!

I would also take a little box of raisins or blueberries as they take a while to eat and shouldn't be filling.

Games on your phone? Cbeebies ap? I must admit we got DS through the meal at a wedding recently by letting him watch Peppa on my phone with the sound down. other than that DS ran wild round the venue at high speed before the meal which was great fun in heels and he screamed his head off the minute the music started at the church so I didn't see any of the ceremony. Have you got a DP with you? Definitely a two pairs of hands job!

I don't usually give sweets so a bucket of haribo doled out one at a time kept DD super quiet during a wedding ceremony.

Have a "lucky bag" filled with cheap toys from pound shop.

A baby sitter, i would have seen 0% of the wedding with my son at that age

Thanks for the ideas everyone! Post it notes are a great idea that would not have occured to me! And I will dole out food at regular intervals! Babysitter is not an option unfortunately but my husband is coming too so I will have some help. She went to loads as a baby and they were great but I know this one is going to be hard work!
