Any recommendations? DD has really enjoyed a set of Thomas the Tank Engine CDs so I'd like to get her some more. Thanks Smile

I have these set aside for Christmas for 4yo DS though 8yo DD will listen too. Excellent value.

My ds7 has really enjoyed the Faraway tree books, Roald Dahl and also anything and everything by David Walliams Smile

Try your local library too. We get a new audio book practically every week and they're free to borrow.

The Book People do a Roald Dahl set of CD's and I think we got a David Walliams set too. All my DC listen to them and enjoy them including 6yo dc4 Smile

SaulGood · 24/07/2015 21:44

Oh yes, do not get the Mr Gum ones read by Winslet. Painful is not the word.

Walliams is brilliant too.

Charity shops are good too. We picked up lots of classics which were freebies from the papers in the past. Stuff like Paddington, Wind In The Willows, Winnie The Pooh, The Secret Garden and so on.
