I am trying to set up the Swindon Real Nappy Network, and am having some degree of success in raising awareness, but am finding many people would like to ?try? them out first. I cannot afford to buy even second-hand ones for this purpose (as it would come out of my pocket and I would get no return) and so I implore anyone out there who has any second, third, fourth-hand real nappies, in any state, that they are prepared to give away, can you please get in touch ([email protected]).

may i ask about how this is going and what youre actually doing as i have been wanting to do the same after discovering cloth nappies - have been trialling every nappy under sun for last month.

Have you been in contact with Jacky Thomas at the Wiltshire Real Nappy Network? You could try your local freecycle group on yahoo or maybe contact nappy suppliers direct and ask for samples - they tend to be keen if you are in the business of promoting cloth.

Hi hayles, I?ve done two nappuccinos (nappy coffee mornings) at my local starbucks and had a stall at a local mother and baby event, with Jacky Thomas, and I?ve been doing demos at local mother and baby groups. I?ve contacted real nappy agents from the area, and have divided Swindon up into areas for people to contact. Will shortly be setting up a website, hopefully (one of the agents has said she?ll do it) and so far that?s about it! I want to set up a trail service now, but can?t really afford the out-lay!
