How does the old 'Dalek' style Sangenic nappy bin actually work!?!

I bought one of these at an NCT sale. Got the refill cassettes and thought I would be all sorted. Er... I can't figure out how to work it. Got the refill in, tied a knot in the end of the plastic... Now what? Do I have to lift the see-through lid off every time? Why does it twist round? Any advice (step-by-step) gratefully received! Thanks all.

Hi Lizlegs - u lift the lid (yellow?) where you can then see the plastic from the refill cassette - insert dirty nappy and twist (the inner cassette) a couple of times (to sort of seal smell!!!) and bobs your times uncle! ready for the next one.

Hope this helps

You put dirty nappy in top, replace see through lid and turn the outer edge of the ring to twist the bag and enclose it. To remove all the dirties you flip open the bottom and turn the inner part of the see through lid to cut through the bag at the top which you knot and remove the "string of sausages". Knot the new end and close.
