My dd is will be 3 in dec and I'm not sure how ready she is in terms of potty training.
She'll say a number of times a day that she needs the potty, but I think she says it as she's doing it.
If it's a poo she'll ask for the potty after the act & then insist on sitting on the potty, get off it after 5 mins or so and then declare it's empty.
I'm really not sure how to go about getting her to ask for the potty before she goes & I'm not even sure how aware she is that she's filling her nappy. Training ds was much much easier, it all seems very different and a lot more difficult with dd.
