Advice needed - food and milk question

I have a little boy of almost 11 months, he is placid, a good sleeper and no problem to look after - however he has recently started to get really fussy with his food and milk which is driving me to distraction, I know everyone will say chill and go with it - he will eat/drink etc if he is hungry or thirsty but I am finding this impossible to do. This afternoon for example he drank 1 oz of his bottle before batting it away, he has also started to do this with his meals. I am worried he is not getting enough to eat or drink - I don't want to make an issue of it as mealtimes and feed times are become stressful for both of us but this is easier said than done - can anyone offer any advice please?

Finger food?

My DD 12 months was just the same about two weeks ago, then started to eat again for a day or so, then back to nothing again. I think she's having trouble with a couple of monster teeth. It's a nightmare, I know. I'm just going with it and hoping things will get better. If he's maintaining weight and sleeping well, I wouldn't worry too much. Easily said I know and it is frustrating when you've gone to loads of trouble with food, but it will get better.

do you think he is teething?

sit him beside you, even on your lap, at mealtimes, let him pinch off your plate, its more appealing for some reason off your plate!

finger foods, everything on toast, he can suck it off toast soldiers

good luck

dont worry
