Ikea Antilop high chair tray - peeling plastic?

I just went to rub at what I thought was a bit of stubborn food, and a very thin layer of plastic started to peel off the high chair tray. The more I rubbed the more it peeled away, with little bits of plastic coming off.

Is this a known problem? Had it less than 6 months, so a bit disappointed. Might take it back and complain!

Ours is 7 years old and still comes out for visitors in perfect condition. Take it back. I bet they'll swap it with no argument.

Oh dear, that's no good. We've had ours for about a year and no peeling yet. Perhaps ask for a replacement?

Never happened to ours and it's been very well used!

Mine is also doing this! Hadn't thought to take it back- but not sure I can cope with going again.

Time to head back to ikea. Luckily this is a treat for me!
