Sleepytot - anyone use one?

DD is 8 months. Good napper and fairly good sleeper, except she uses a dummy as a comforter and loses it several times a night. Fed up of the dummy runs we've bought a Sleepytot following rave reviews online. I've just put her to sleep with it, she pulled out a dummy and found one again before she went so that bodes well. However, I'm now freaking out a little that I've put her to bed with something loose in the cot as she's always had an empty cot up til now (apart from the dummy). She rolls well and is very close to crawling so is pretty mobile.

Anyone else use one and if so, how old was your DC when you left it in the cot with them?

Hey...we use one although mine only uses it as teddy....still has separate dummy. Been in cot since 8 months with no problems! X

Hmmm, just bought DS (6m) a Ewan snuggly which is similar but only has one dummy attachment option - so not quite as good as the sleepytot but saw them in Boots today and impulse bought one in sheer desperation!! Sounds good news re your DD finding a dummy already though - let us know how she gets on through the night? Regarding your concern about leaving something loose in the cot with her, can't say I gave it a second thought tbh.... DS is able to move around the cot anyway and already has a muslin in with him as a "blankie". Is your DD your pfb?! please don't worry about it, she'll surely be fine. She's done alright so far, a few murmurs on the monitor but seemed to sort herself out. OH did go up the last time, it had ended up behind her so he put it in front of her and she grabbed it and took the dummy.

DD has had hers since around 4 months. No issues. She's 20 mo now

She still needed help with lost dummies til she was about 1. She rarely needs any help these days and regularly mugs Sleepytot for his.

When she's a bit older, it's funny to see them frantically "frisk" Sleepytot for a dummy when he's not holding... mean parents

My dd had hers since 6 months, she's now almost 4 and he's still with her all the time, he's become her much loved comforter. The dummies are gone but the sleepy tot lives on!

My kids have always had two with several dummies attached from about 7 months old. I can't rate them highly enough!!

Well, she did alright. I checked on her a few times in the night, like an idiot - kind of defeats the point of buying something to try and stop the night runs, but she only cried out for someone to come once at about 6am. I put the sleepytot in front of her and put her hand on it, she grabbed it and stuffed a dummy in. Hopefully she'll get better at finding it herself as the nights go on. And I will get better at needlessly checking on her when I know she's fine
