have just bought a cheap wool pull on wool cover for each of my 2 so the waterproof covers could be shared between them for daytime use.

they look adorable, dd thinks she's the bees knees but dear god my upstairs reeks like my grans sheep shed!

please tell me it fades?!

Argh - never had that - just nice lanolin smell.

What lanolin are you using?

they're the popolini pull on ones and it said there was no need to pre treat before wearing

I'd wash them and lanolin yourself

lanolin THEM yourself... don't waterproof yourself -its very sticky and you'll go fluffy
