Teething?

Hi, sorry if TMI here!

9 month old DS has had at least 5 dirty nappies a day for 2.5 weeks, most being runny diarrhoea type (sorry). Colour changes from brown to green to grey as the day goes on. It's very explosive, he pumps and it's all over the place!

I've taken him to see the GP last week who said he was thriving and fine. Later that evening I rang 111 as his poo went to a white goo and they sent us to an out of hours GP who also said he was fine.

He's also vomiting at least once a day.

He's fine in himself, quite happy although not sleeping well.

Anyone else had this? I've been told it might be his teeth but would that go on for this long?

Sounds exactly like mine when he started teething. He was leaking watery poos all day, sometimes bright green ones for 3-4 weeks.
He got bad nappy rash because i was cleaning his bum so much.
Restless, not sleeping or napping.
Not sure about the vomiting though,.do you mean milky reflex or proper projectile? That might not b normal.

Ah thank you for that! That makes me feel better. He's got 3 teeth but I'm suspecting a 4th any time soon. Also being rubbish at sleeping at all times too.

It's projectile vomiting, mainly if I dare to give him anything other than purée. He hates lumps, won't tolerate them. But the last few days he's also brought up his quite smooth porridge so don't know what's going on.

Maybe yours is a 'sicky' baby... Some do throw up more than others.

I'd suggest take his temperature, and monitor his food for allergies just in case.

Mine not really sicky. But the teething really made him poo, and cry in his sleep. He has 5 teeth now, and one more on the way soon. The bottom 2 come up first, then you generally get 4 at the top come through around the same time.

Have forgotten what sleep feels like!
