Sorry genuine question - I don't understand how you can be feeling broody with a 14mth old?
Is it a new born you yearn for?

My youngest is almost 3 and I still feel broody.
No idea how to stop it, either. Friendhas 6 and she is so glad she was sterilised or she's sure it would be 7.

Think Iºm going to be broody forever. I guess you have to try to focus on the other good things in life that aren´t compatible with tinies - fun, grown up holidays, big kid holidays like disneyworld or skiing, having more freedom to find new hobbies/jobs/qualifications etc.

The one thing I comfort myself with is that if I still feel broody when mine are bigger (ie teens), then I can always look seriously at fostering, which DH would fully support, and then I feel better.

Could you volunteer at a hospital or something? Or get involved in Homestart or something similar that involves contact with small babies?

Know how you feel though! hth
