I'm weaning off the bottle and use a valved cup for water during the day which DS drinks out of fine and is good for me as its non spill but I heard he shouldn't be drinking out a valved cup but any other cup the contents just ends up either down him or on the floor so what should I be doing?

I used a tommy tippee one then progressed to tommy tippee without a lid and by 15 months we were using plastic beakers with no handles or spout

DD has a variety! A tommee tippee my first cup for at home. A tommee tippee non spill spout she uses sometimes out and about. A nuby straw cup for childminder. And we tried a doidy cup the other day - we all got soaked! She is 12 months.
