I'm suppose to be working on and preparing for a presentation thats tommorrow and also for a resus assessment.

My boy's are at school, it's nearly 11:30 and I still have not done any work....I'm officially sciving!!

Who else is avoiding studying?

If by sciving you mean sitting wth the active convos link up and paying far more attention to that than 'the resilience of language' that would be me.......

Upsadaisy · 15/11/2006 12:01

'resillience of language' sounds interesting, is an an assignment?

Doing research for a linguistics essay. Language acquisition in exceptional circumstances. Currently thinking of doing deaf children of hearing parents. Ts very interesting really, which of course means I will be merrily reading books and papers until the deadline and never get the essay written!

Your presentation anything interesting?

Tut tut sally! I am at least at home with the laptop balanced on my Bump and my feet up.

Not that I feel smug about being all comfy and warm while it rains and continues to be foggy outside and DP has had to go to lectures!

Upsadaisy · 15/11/2006 12:39

Indith wow....I'll swap with you lol. My presentation is on caesarean sections with a case scenario base. It's interesting but having kids myself and family who have had caesareans theres nothing really grabbing my attention.

I start researching journals for this but end up clicking on the links and reading something completely unassociated but very interesting.

sallystrawbery lol

ooo missed your last post....'laptop on bump' how far along are you?

Jealous at how cosy you sound....thats it I will be treating myself to a film wrapped up on armchair with hot chocolate tonight providing I get this work done.

Can I join in?

I should be revising for a psychology exam I've got on Tuesday but once again I'm on MN

Indith · 15/11/2006 18:15

Upsadaisy I'm 34 weeks and I think I'll keep my essay thanks!

Count me in.... case study in law to give in on dec 12th...some research done .. mostly pracrastination. Negative thoughts in head like...im not good enough , havnt got ability..im my own worst enemy. Said same last year and got 1st in 1 exam...which i was so dreading. Anyone else just keep beating self up for no good reason. Some fellows dream of worthy accomplishments...whilst others achieve them. At the moment im the dreamer...need to wake up quick smart.
