Any good books about toddlers?

That's it really. I'm struggling with my 2.5 year old DD and have got to the point where I might need some ideas from an expert!

Some problems are:
-- She won't nap but is exhausted. Likes to pretend to nap in her bed and then ends up crying and screaming, it ruins the shape of the day
-- has become very contrary about food
-- won't ever do what she's told or even sometimes answer questions properly

Thanks! Any suggestions gratefully received.

The only book I would ever recommend is The Science of Parenting by Margot Sunderland. The woman is a genius.

My favourite was Toddler Taming by dr Christopher Green (I think?!). Lots of sound, sensible, reassuring practical advice - it doesn't offer miracle cures but I found it easy to read (even when feeling utterly frazzled) & useful. Good luck! Smile
