Student loan and legal aid

I'm in a bit of a pickle and am checking my eligability for legal aid.

As a full time student dependant mostly on a student loan living with a partner who earns just over minimum wage and there for is over the limit for financial help such as housing benefit I doubt we are entitled but I'm doing the online calculator to be sure.

Is student loan taken into consideration? My guess is that it'll either be excluded from calculation or I'll be counted as an erratic earner as is it not a regular income. There's no mention of it on the notes and its too late to ring them now.

Any help appreciated!

I would ask this in the legal section or ask mumsnet to move this post

I don't think there is any legal aid any more is there?

There is Zame for those with low incomes in various circumstances.

Id qualify if the student loan is excluded but not if its included.
I'll ask in legal, thanks :)

Yes OP, Student Loan is taken into consideration. I had the same issue to when applying to Legal Aid, whilst receiving student loans and grants.
