Probably really silly but if your child was starting school this year . He'l be 5 in September what age clothes would you buy . He's a good size aged 5 now . 5-6 or 6-7

I'd do 5-6 trousers because it would be a pain to have to wonder web/sew them up and they're really cheap anyway. They're also unlikely to last long if my son's constant holes in the knees are anything to go by. I'd go bigger on the polo shirt if coloured because they last well. 5-6 if white because it'll go grey over time and you'll want to replace it.

Jumpers I tend to go bigger on too because the ones from our uniform shop are great quality and last very very well but are quite pricey.

So, yeah in summary if you think it'll last go big. Otherwise you might as well go for what will fit him at the time.

Thank you , just tried to order 6-7 but they only come in 5-6 or 7-8 so it's answered my own question x
