My doc has prescribed me Norethisterone tablets to prevent my period for a few weeks while we go on holiday. She's just rang me to say it could reduce lactation entirely and not to take it. Argh!
Has anyone used this and had that effect? I'm stuck now - really don't want a period to arrive whilst on holiday - as I'm exclusively breastfeeding my 4 month son my first two periods were 7 weeks apart
