I'm in the same boat. I was thinking an Aquadoodle? Or an easel. Also bought some book sets.

I keep asking my nearly 2 year old What she wants for her birthday and she is quite adamant that she wants 'wheels!' So I (she) would suggest a ride on toy/trike or some sort.

DS loved the wooden train set he got for his 2nd birthday. I've just got my 2yo niece a bilibo, which has had very good online reviews, awards, etc.

Play doh usually goes down well with 2yr olds

I think I got DD Duplo. Smile

We got DD a kitchen from Ikea, along with some of the pots and pans and felt food things. She absolutely loves it and plays with it every day.

Other things she likes are books, puzzles, train that is made of blocks, duplo/ lego and dressing up.

DS is 2.5years and the favourite toys here are: toy kitchen, Duplo, wooden train set and his Little Tykes coupe

My 2.6 yr old is really getting into imaginary games now. Toy pushchair and toy food and cooking stuff are currently big favourites.

My 2 year old got a toy kitchen and a wooden ice cream set. She also loves her micro scooter with the seat.
