Hi I'm new to this but need advice or hope that things will
get better. I'm a single mum with a great ds whos 10 years old. We moved from scotland to England due to me having friend's down here and more job prospects. One BIG problem my son hates me for moving down. He is doing well at school but says misses his friends. I've tried to get him to join clubs but he doesn't want to and trying to get him to go out is a battle which ends up with him swearing and hitting me and shouting he wishes he was dead. It's horrible to see as he should be out enjoying life. It's now got to the stage where he's not sleeping at night and keeps me awake by shouting and I'm afraid he will keep the neighbours awake. He has one good friend at school but has now said he doesn't want him across to play. It seems that if he makes himself unhappy that I will pack up and go back. (Which I don't) Even if we did that things would have moved on by now. I'm at my wits end :(
