how would you fell if Ian huntleys misses was rehoused near by?

Hi All,
well rumour here goes around that Ian Huntleys involved misses has settled in an estate in this town. She was housed, got a Job at Morrisons apparently and has had her facial features altered via surgery and whatever else and obviously her id changed.....really don't know how I feel about this! I don't know if she has learned from the past...I don't kow if she fels remorse/feelse bad about her involvement, I don't know what she is planning in her life or how perceptive she is NOT to pick the wrong guy again....so, must say, am not happy for her to be here, but feel in a way horrid about this, because I usually say give people the benefit of the doubt...but then, where Kids are involved...ar we right to do so...should we trust the authoritys....
Like I said, it's all rumours, and that may well be all that it is...but of course it has put my emotions into turmoil!
Should we protest about this? Or should we give her the right for aninomity as ong as she isn't part of any dodgy business again?

The probation service recently made a huge cock up locally......

Guy out on probation after killing his girlfriend. Conditions say that he shouldn't live/work in a particular town. Guess where he's living? And he goes on to kill his subsequent girlfriend (ex)who's 16, her two siblings and step father in an arson attack. Convicted last week of their murder

Wouldn't rely on them too much then....

I honestly don't see Maxine Carr as a threat - in my opinion all she was ever guilty of was being a silly stupid girl, madly in love with her boyfriend.

She is, and it doesn't bother me. I know this for a fact, as opposed to rumour - because of my dh's job. I think she's serving as much of a life sentence as Ian Huntley - she must be terrified every time she leaves the house. She was gullible, not overly bright and in love - and she's served her sentence.

Completely innocent women have suffered because of being mistaken for her - and, as I don't have a Morrison's anywhere near me, the woman you are talking about 3andnomore, is one such innocent woman. I hope the rumours don't get taken seriously

Well...no one has actually seen her or is thinking that they have, but apparent;y a hubby or wife working for cid spouted it out and then felt the need to go "public" with it...well, that is the story anyway, lol!

I meant then the partner felt the need to spout it out publicly!

I think this is an urban myth. Shes also supposed to be living in my village and working nights at a local factory!

My friend lives in the same street as the arson attack saggarmaker talks about, my blood ran cold when I heard it on the news as they just named the street at first not the house number and she has the same amount of children. Sil's mum works for the probation service and she says they got a HUGE amount of stick over it.

Anyway, back to the point, I felt so sorry for that foreign student, she was hounded out of town by a posse of self rightous scandalmongeres. What a great impression of the UK she has now.

I have discovered that the guy who went into a church with a machete lives in the next road to me in a hostel. There are apparently a fair few hostels etc round here, but I just feel "Well they have to live somewhere, why am I special?"

It isn't a high crime area, and I suppose you are probably less at risk from someone being monitored by the probation service?

As for Maxine Carr - she isn't even violent. What threat could she pose to you or your children?
