Help with party time

Planning a 1st birthday party for my DS, nothing massive, just a garden party with some food and I've hired some soft play bits.
Just wondering the best time to hold it and for how long? The oldest child there will be 3 and DS will be the youngest.

Any opinions appreciated I'm new to this whole kids party thing!

The first couple of parties are for parents, so hold it when you want to! The kids will all be napping at different times, so please yourself while you can.

This is what worries me, but I guess I'll just selfishly plan it round DS nap time Wink

10.30-12.30. Then ds can have a big nap after.

Yes plan around his sleep. Parties are usually about 11 till 1 or 3 till 5 in my experience. Have fun.

I was thinking afternoon, so I could pass off the party food as dinner. Excellent mother that I am.
