Conjunctivitis

Hi
We were due to visit friends on Sunday but she let me know today that their toddler has had conjunctivitis for the last few days.

Should I postpone the trip? We have three young children. How contagious is it?

Is your friends lo having treatment? If he is then there will be minimal risk to anyone else, but should use seperate flannel etc.
If they are doing self care (boiled water and cotton wool) he may be slightly more contagious but good hand hygiene and seperate flannels and towels etc can reduce the risk of cross infection.
