How long does she play for before you go to her?

No, there's nothing wrong with that.

In fact I'd be glad if that was the case in the Binary Household!

I can't see how you could be doing anything wrong, as long as you're not leaving her there for hours. Its lovely she is content and happy to just entertain herself for a while and if that gives you an extra ten minutes in bed then I'd count your blessings and make the most of it....

DS does this- we leave him until he either starts to cry or until 7am weekdays, 8am weekends.
Enjoy the peace!

I could not be more jealous. Enjoy it while it lasts!! Sling a bottle of milk in there to keep her hydrated maybe but happy days!

If she's happy doing it, and not doing anything that causes problems for anyone else, the problem is what, exactly?

Lopperlady1 · 15/05/2015 14:01

My little boy does this. I tend to leave him as long as he sounds happy. I think it's great if they can be happy on their own and shows they are content. Make the most of it!

My 16 week old already does this, just assumed I was lucky. When I wake up she is already up, in a different position to what I put her down in, giggling and talking to herself. She looks over at me, smiles, and then I go and get myself together and sort myself out before her.
