exercise for my son

my 8 year old boy is a huge gamer and he plays all the time. I was thinking about getting him one of those mini exercise trampolines so he can get some exercise jumping up and down while he plays. Does anyone have any experience with those things and are they good for keeping in shape just by bouncing?

I think you should limit playing time and get him out in the garden or park instead no kid is going to want to bounce up & down whilst playing fifa or Minecraft to get a bit of exercise

Personally I'd turn off the games machine and take him to the park/ pool etc?

Limit the screen time and get him a bike!

Limit it to an hour and a half a day? He has to all his chores and an hours excersise first to be allowed to start gaming daily. That includes walking/footy/trampolining/going for a run. You could get active with him too and join him or let him sign up to some clubs.

Yes agree he won't won't to bounce on his own. He will with friends. Bike also sounds good

^^ Just limit his screen time - Do you honestly think he can bounce (safely and with any enthusiasm to make it genuine 'exercise') and game at the same time ....................? Hmm

BikeRunSki · 14/05/2015 07:19

Maybe get him one of these ?
