14 month old super grumpy and clingy in the morning

Help! My 14 month old is clingy, wingy and grumpy from the moment he gets up in the morning until he has his first nap. Everything is too much for him. Nappy change, getting dressed, getting in the high chair, having to wait for porridge (2 min tops) is all met with crying and resistance. He sleeps well, usually from 7pm to 6am. I think he needs an hour longer really but he wakes up 6 on the dot every morning no matter what I do. He does good naps, 2 a day with a total of 2 to 3 hours. So I do believe that he sleeps enough in total. Anyone else experiencing this and any ideas how to resolve this?

You could be talking about my DC here! He sleeps pretty well but so moody in the mornings Sad. It's not so bad when I don't have to work as I can go at his pace but the other days I am on a schedule and he really doesn't like it. It's not like we are rushing around because he gets up around 6am too, but I have to get ready which isn't easy with a toddler hanging on your leg crying. So don't have a solution really, but watching this with interest!

This can be my dd... 15 months... On home days its a case of distraction until first nap.. On work day she's at nursery as soon as possible !
No idea why... She sleeps well but wakes 6 on the dot every day;and wakes from her first nap happy.
Hopefully time will improve!
