8mo is biting

My 8mo has got four teeth through, two at the top and two at the bottom. He's started biting down really hard on whatever bit of skin he can find on me! Hard enough to leave deep teeth marks. Am I able to say no in a firm voice and move him away? Or is he too young? I keep getting woken up with a bite to the cheek Sad

I was a nursery nurse before being a mummy and It's never to early for them to learn no, at 8 months he's not doing it deliberately to hurt you(although that doesn't stop it hurting) Try giving him teething rings and hard toys to bite.
As far as telling him no, I did exactly what your doing with my dd when she did something wrong at that age and younger, babies have a suprising amount of understanding

No advice but sympathies as my 7mo dd is the same. She has 6 teeth and managed to make my nips bleed when she bit me breastfeeding the other day OUCH!! It definitely seems worse when new teeth are coming through so perhaps there's more teeth on the way?
