Nappy leakage in Moby wrap!

DD is 4 weeks old and in the past week her nappy has leaked every time we've used the Moby. I'm not sure why - not leaking in any other circumstances. I have tried newborn hug hold and kangaroo hold and it happened with both. Has anyone else had this? Help me! I've got a bigger kid and need to be able to get out and about. Have an Ergo sling and can't wait til that kicks in but LO is still too young.

Is it the position or the time she spends in the wrap? Maybe try a size up in nappies? It may be that it's fine normally but the froggy position means it's a bit too rights and gapes.

At least the moby wrap can go in the wash.

Have you got a newborn insert for your ergo? Just use that?

No I haven't got the insert. Is it good? Can order one. Good tip on the nappy size. She's only in it for a short time, that's why I think it must be a logistical problem.

Play around with size of nappy and also how tight you put it on. Not when in sling but i bizarrely found that if the nappy was too snug it was more likely to leak as the wee didn't absorb into the whole nappy but if there was a fair bit of space then it would catch all the wee and the nappy would swell up much more.

Everyone that said try larger nappies was correct!! Went up a size, lots of poos but no leakage. Thank you!
