Baby can't manage dummy

My LO is 7 weeks and seems to like a dummy (and it seems to help his reflux). The only problem is he can't seem to hold it in his mouth on his own. We've tried orthopedically correct and cherry top.

Any ideas? We really feel it will make a huge difference ...

TIA

Had the same problem never found a solution though just did without a dummy.

We had the same issue. I found the tiny MAM ones worked. I think they are called MAM start and are for 0-2 months. The 0+ was too big for him at that age but 0-2 worked perfectly.

Dd is 12 weeks and has silent reflux. She's getting better at holding the dummy now but it's taken her ages to get the hang of it.

DD could only keep hold of the Avent transparent ones. Really helped with her reflux.

Thank you everyone. Will seek out these brands. Thanks again

My lo only liked the latex ones, wouldn't keep the silicone ones in. Her first dummy was a nuk latex and they stayed in easier. After a while I swapped her to a tommee tippee latex. Both are orthodontic ones x
