Access course v's Degree

I'm currently studying access to social science and although it isn't especially difficult the workload is intense.

Was just wondering how the workload in the access course compares to the degree.

I have 4 assignments due in by Christmas and thats with keeping up with the work as its been assigned.

Please tell me it doesnt get any worse at uni!

Depends on the degree. If you're going for social work, then it gets more BUT if you're going for a bog standard degree (eg spciology) it can vary by uni but usually improves, noticeably ime.

I've got 2 assignments before Christmas, 2 immediately due after.

However, in terms of difficulty beware the jump to the second year- it's OK once you get the hang but it is noticeably more serious.
