kiddicare peterborough

Probably the wrong place to post, but wondered if anyone has been to kiddicare in Peterborough this year? I went last year in the summer before they were bought out and shut all the other shops, and am considering driving there again as there are quite a few things I need that I'd like to see before I buy. When the other shops shut I'm sure I read that the Peterborough shop was going to be reducing also, and wondered if it's still worth a visit?
Any help much appreciated.

I know the Kiddicare you're talking about but have never been.
What sort of things do you want to look at?
Most of what I want to buy is on display in John Lewis, would that be an option for you?
Otherwise is there a Babies r Us closer?
I would grab any opportunity to visit a big store but I'm actually trying to avoid going in case I come out with tat or items not on my list (you can tell I'm not restrained!)

Was there on Sat (live over the road!) and seemed fully functioning to me. Bought a car seat. Kiddicare is great and you can pick up some bargains. What do you need? 3 floors of stuff too, plus Mothercare is over the road in Tesco (and the Early Learning Centre) so whatever you don't findnin Kiddicare you might find there instead.

Great, thanks. Our local mothercare is a bit rubbish and John Lewis locally is good but they don't have what I need. I want a travel cot, High chair and jumper thing, but want to look at them before I buy. It won't take long to whiz up the a1 to kiddicare, just didn't want to make the trip if the rumour was true and it's reduced its stock.

we went there a couple of months ago, was pretty much the same as 5yrs ago when we went for dc1, still worth a visit if you want to see things in the flesh so to speak Smile

I miss the Kiddicare in Southampton. Such a shame they all closed.
