bottle, steraliser, breast pump advice

Hi ladies,
Looking for advice on the above. I'm 35 weeks and trying to get organised! I have john lewis vouchers which I'm trying to use and found a Dr browns steraliser and bottles set for £46 and I was looking at getting a breast pump as I thought once breast feeding was established I could express and dad could do a feed but would I need to get the same brand of breast pump as my bottles so they can be used when required or are baby bottles standard sizes? Also I would want to use the steraliser for the bottles as well but would they fit.
This is all so confusing and I'm maybe making it more difficult by limiting myself to John Lewis!

I did a lot of expressing and I just pumped into the bottles that fit the pump (medela) and then when needed I poured the milk into the feeding bottle.

I probably wouldn't spend loads on bottles before birth, different bottles suit different babies.

As per pp.. I would pump into the bottle that came with the pump and pour into the feeding bottles as required. However, I would wait to buy a breast pump as I never really used mine in the end, since I found pumping hard work and DS refused bottles until 5mo when we really started persevering. Also, my DS was, and still is, very fussy about bottles and would only take MAM bottles (and dummies) so all the tommee tippee ones I bought when pregnant got thrown out. I wouldn't spend too much right now and see how you go when baby arrives.

Agree with pps . I've got a microwave steriliser and any bottles in it. I wouldn't buy a steriliser new though you can pick them up very cheaply second hand.
