dry scalp remedies

my 5 week old dd doesn't have cradle cap but parts of her scalp are a bit dry and flaky. I read people put baby oil or moisutrising cream on their baby's head but does that not make their hair greasy?

My dd has this. Sounds random but I put a bit of olive oil on her hair at beginning of bath and try to give it a fairly good rub, then leave it on for a bit while she has her bath. Then just before she comes out I wash olive oil out and just wash it normally with baby shampoo. Only done it perhaps 3 times and my dd head is loads better & most of the flakiness is going. My mum recommended I do it & its worked for me.

I do similar to ct148 but using baby oil.
