Should we remove wifi like France?

Morning everyone, a French colleague of mine sent me this article... I've read threads on here from what I deem to be over cautious parents "protecting" their children from wifi but this is a large country's government, does anyone know why they've done this?

My French is definitely not up to reading that Act, but I'd need to see the relevant clauses before I could believe this.

Surely if it's that dangerous it should be banned in all homes with under 6s, too?

I think routers used in schools and larger buildings are more powerful than the ones used in homes, that's the only reason I can think that routers at home haven't been banned ragged...
