So DD, 14 weeks is a very sucky baby, we have been using the Phillips avent dummies age 0-6mth, but I am having to hold them in as she sucks so hard they come flying out of her mouth. I have tried dummies for 6-18mth old but she just gags on them. Can anyone recommend a dummy for a very sucky baby that will stay in her mouth. TIA

I'm not sure about makes or brands of dummy but my dd preferred those with the cherry tips (I think; they had big, round, bulbous tips) rather than the flat ones. She had quite a strong suck and it was difficult to pull the dummy out sometimes.

Thanks Mumofboyo. I've just had a look online and tommee tippee do them, so will pick some up tomorrow and give those a go - fingers crossed they work Smile

Yes we ended up with mam ones too after trying nearly every brand of dummy going. They were the only ones he could keep in his mouth
