Exchanging nappies?

So, being a first time mum I stockpiled nappies so I wouldn't have to make a mad dash to the supermarket at 3am with an infant in a nappy fashioned from a tea towel.
Naturally I was clueless about how many of each size I would need and have ended up with a box of size 1 nappies which are too small. Can I take them back to the supermarket and exchange them? I don't have the receipt anymore.

Are they branded or supermarket own? I think if they are supermarket own and unopened you wouldn't need a receipt xx

I did the same and there was no difficulty - I did have the receipt but unless you're looking for a refund I think there should be no problem exchanging them whatever brand they are - the supermarkets are desperate to keep your custom because there's so much competition!

They are branded (Pampers). Think I will call the store and ask before I take them back.

I've done it with absolutely no problems.
