2 year old pulling nappies down

Hiya, wondered if anyone had any advice. My son has a preoccupation with his willy. He has started pulling his nappy down in the day so he can get access and I'm not sure of the most practical solution as I'm not keen on him weeing on the furniture or himself.

I'm thinking popper vests maybe? Downside being checking for poos and any wee leaks mean a change of clothes. He is wearing Tesco pull ups but he does the same wearing standard nappies.

He isn't 2.5 yet and has speech delay. I do explain to him not to pull his pants down but I'm not sure he really understands. We are nowhere near potty training unfortunately.

Any advice or is it just par for the course with toddlers? Thank you.

Dungarees?

I wish I could say it was a short phase, but unfortunately my 4 year old spends most of his time with his hands in his pants. I have to follow him round shouting "hands out!"

Aaah dungarees are a good idea! I used to love him in dungarees when he was tiny Grin

He had two cousins who are of a similar age and older and neither have the preoccupation he has. Least I know I am not alone although slightly concerned about it being a lifelong thing lol.

This made me chuckle and think of my just turned three year old who is always fishing down there. Having a very good tug at it today when i asked to to take his hands out he told me he was waking it up!!!!
Think some boys just do it x
