Please :)
My 20 mths old has been off colour all day and fell asleep in my arms (unheard of) 30 mins before bedtime. He had a temp of 38.7 so gave him calpol and put him to bed in his vest and nappy. He woke up crying 1.5 hours later and hotter so I gave him ibuprofen. He's fast asleep in my bed and isn't obvioudky uncomfortable but his temp hasn't gone down 40 mins later. But it's hasnt gone up either. Should I take him to out of hours? It seems daft to wake him and I think he needs to sleep it off whatever it is. But a bit worried about the temperature

111 will advise.

Definitely call 111. This happened to us and we were sent to out of hours. Younger than yours though, about 11 months. By the time we'd got there she'd cooled down a lot . It's probably fine but better safe than sorry - that's what 111 is for. Hope he's right as rain by morning Smile

Thanks for the replies, I've been on hold to 111 for 10 mins :/
On a positive, his temp is going down so I think I'll hang up :)
