Er....cluster feeding with a toddler?

DD2 is only a week old but has taken to cluster feeding in the late afternoon and early evening. I know this is totally normal and DD1 did it too but I'm not quite sure how to keep DD1 entertained during this time? She's 23mo and is (understandably) bored that mummy can't really play with her. She's bringing books up and watching too much Peppa but what do I do when DP can't entertain her during this time. Today, for example, he went to bed for a couple of hours because he's got a bad head cold and wasn't really up to looking after DD1 (he'd had her all morning so please no LTBs Grin).

So what do you do to entertain your toddler when you just can't interact with them much?

Feed them? I used to set mine up with dinner and then feed the baby, or bedtime milk and In the night garden, then put toddler in the bath to play, sit on the loo, feed the baby, then get toddler out and dressed in pjs, read bedtime story, while feeding baby... You get the gist!

My toddler watched lots and lots and lots of tv, I got very good at walking around whilst breastfeeding and my husband looked after one or the other of the kids no matter how ill he was, we all had d+v when the baby was 4 weeks old, dp cuddled the toddler whilst staying very close to the bathroom, a head cold is no excuse not to look after children!
